Terms of Use — What CLAT Champ Is and Is Not
Free to read, an optional one-time Premium pass, and no connection to the Consortium of NLUs or any law school. The rest is detail.
CLAT Champ is an independent website that explains the CLAT exam, with an online practice portal. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Consortium of National Law Universities, any National Law University, or any other examination or government body. Nothing here is official. The guides are free; the only thing for sale is an optional Premium pass for the practice portal.
By reading the site you accept the terms below. They are short, and written to be understood rather than to be impressive.
We are not an official source
We write about CLAT. We do not run it, and we have no influence over it.
Where we state a fact — a date, a fee, an eligibility threshold — we take it from the Consortium’s own notification and show the date we last checked it. Those checks age. Rules change between cycles, and the Consortium’s notification always overrides anything you read here. Before you act on a deadline, a fee or an eligibility rule, confirm it at the source. We link to it for exactly that reason.
Information, not advice
The guides on this site are general information for a general audience. They are not legal advice, admissions counselling, or a personal recommendation about what you specifically should do.
We do not predict results, forecast cut-offs, rank colleges, or promise outcomes. We do not publish figures we cannot verify — which is why you will not find a rank predictor or a table of counselling fees here, even though people search for both.
The practice portal
CLAT CHAMP is an online practice portal that runs in your web browser at clatchamp.com/app. Some practice is free. The rest needs a Premium subscription. Practice questions are original exam-style material written for preparation; they are not past papers and do not predict your CLAT score or admission.
These terms cover this website, its blog and the practice portal. If we release CLAT CHAMP on iPhone, that version will also be governed by Apple’s standard licence terms. Our Privacy Policy covers the website, the web version and the app.
Your account
Practice on the web needs a free account. You create one with Google sign-in or your email address, and give your first name. The account saves your profile and practice progress so you can carry on from any computer. To create one you must be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian’s agreement. If the sign-in service cannot be reached, the portal may let you practise without an account for the time being; your progress then stays in that browser and is added to your account when you next sign in.
Keep access to the email address or Google account you sign in with; it is how you sign back in and how we identify your progress and any subscription. One account is for one learner. Sign out when you finish on a shared computer. You can delete your account at any time from Account in the portal.
Premium on the web
Web Premium is sold by Aaditya Sharma, trading as CLAT CHAMP, and paid through Razorpay, using UPI, cards or net banking. It is a one-time pass, not a subscription: ₹1,499 for 3 months of access or ₹1,999 for 1 year, including any applicable taxes. Access starts when your payment is confirmed and lasts for the period you chose. Nothing renews automatically and we do not store your payment details. Refunds are covered by our Cancellation & Refunds policy.
To buy Premium you need an account. Purchases are for a parent or guardian, or for learners aged 18 or over. A pass is for one learner’s personal study. Please don’t share or resell access, or copy, scrape or republish the practice material.
If you buy another pass while Premium is still active, the new period starts when the current one ends. We may change prices for future purchases; a change never affects a pass you have already paid for.
Using what is here
Read it, use it, and share it. You may link to any page freely, and quote short passages with credit and a link back.
What you may not do: republish whole guides elsewhere, present our writing as your own, sell it, or scrape the site in bulk or by automated means. The writing, design, logo and name are ours and stay ours.
Links to other sites
We link to official sources and, occasionally, to other reference material. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or availability. A link is not an endorsement.
What we do not promise
We work hard to be accurate, and we correct errors when they are pointed out. But we provide this site as it is: we cannot guarantee it will be available without interruption, free of errors, or current at the moment you read it.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from decisions you make based on this site — missed deadlines, application mistakes or admission outcomes included. That is not us dodging responsibility for bad writing; it is why we tell you to confirm anything that matters against the Consortium.
Found a mistake?
Tell us. Write to contact@clatchamp.com with the page and what is wrong, and we will check it against the source. If we got it wrong we will fix it and say that we did.
This matters more to us than it might sound. A single wrong eligibility figure can cost someone a year.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the date at the top of the page changes with them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes relating to them are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India.
