Short answer
When will the CLAT 2027 admit card be released?
No release date has been announced as of 10 October 2026. The Consortium says the date will be announced on its website, and that candidates download the admit card by logging in to their account, using the mobile number and password from registration. The exam is on Sunday, 6 December 2026.
Update log
This is a status page. We re-check the official site and update it when anything changes.
| Date checked | What the official site says |
|---|---|
| 10 October 2026 | No admit card date announced. The exam date and timing are as originally published. |
| 4 October 2026 | No admit card date announced. |
The Consortium notes that dates are subject to revision. If a date has since been announced or changed, the Consortium’s notice takes precedence over this page.
What we know
- The exam is on Sunday, 6 December 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Eligible PwD candidates have until 4:40 p.m.
- Applications close on 31 October 2026, so completing the form and payment before then is the first requirement.
- The instructions say the date on which admit cards will be available “will be intimated on the website”.
- The admit card, not a coaching page or a message in a group, is your authority for your centre and reporting details.
How to download the CLAT 2027 admit card
According to the official instructions, you download the admit card by logging in to your account on the official CLAT 2027 website. Login uses the registered mobile number and the password given at registration. So:
- Keep that mobile number active, and keep the password somewhere you can find it.
- When the Consortium announces the release, type the official address into your browser yourself. Do not follow a link from a message.
- Log in, download the admit card, and save a copy.
What to check on the admit card
The Consortium sets what the card shows, so check every detail on it. These are the usual things to look for:
- Name, parents’ names and date of birth. Compare each with your certificates. The instructions stress that names must be spelt correctly.
- Photograph and signature.
- Exam centre and address. Plan the journey before the exam week.
- Reporting time and gate-closing time, if shown. The exam start time is not your arrival deadline.
- Any list of permitted and prohibited items, if the card includes one.
- Category and PwD details, if you claimed them.
If anything looks wrong, use the contact details on the official Consortium site straight away rather than waiting for exam day.
What to prepare before it arrives
- Arrange a printer or a print shop, and keep a spare copy.
- Gather the originals you will need, using our exam day documents checklist.
- Read what to expect on the day in CLAT exam day: timings and a practical plan.
Beware of fake admit card notices
Only trust messages that lead to the official Consortium website. A “download admit card” link from an unknown sender is a reason to stop and type the address yourself. Never share your password with anyone offering to “get” your admit card.
