Documents Required on CLAT Exam Day: A Checklist

Use your CLAT 2027 admit card and test-day instructions for the final document checklist. Prepare to print the admit card and arrange an accepted original photo ID, but confirm the accepted documents, stationery and any additional requirements when those instructions are issued.

Check these details when the admit card is available

Your name, photograph, roll number and centre address.
Reporting time and the last permitted entry time.
Accepted photo IDs, including whether a school ID is allowed.
Required printouts, photographs and any applicable disability or accommodation documents.
Permitted pen type and colour.
Rules for water bottles, watches, bags, stationery and medical items.

Do not assume an item allowed in a previous year is allowed this year. In particular, this page does not certify permission to carry a watch or clipboard.

Prepare in advance

Download the admit card through your official candidate account. Check it against your identity documents and contact the official help desk about discrepancies early.

Plan your route. Keep required printouts and permitted items together before leaving. Do not rely on the centre to store valuables or print documents.

If you need an accommodation

Check the current process and deadlines for approval and supporting documents. The general instructions mention an extended slot for eligible PwD candidates; your applicable arrangements need confirmation through the official process.

On the day

Follow the admit card and invigilator’s directions. If a required document is missing, contact the centre staff promptly; this checklist cannot guarantee admission without it. Avoid carrying unnecessary electronics or materials into the examination area.
